Christine Lily Kessler is an Educational Specialist, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500), and adjunct professor of Yoga at Butler University. Fascinated by the ancient, living lineage, her studies and peace-teachings honor the people, cultures, and origins of these vast traditions. With 27 years of professional primary and university teaching and curriculum writing experience, Lily has created two International Yoga Alliance Certified Schools offering 200-hour and advanced 300-hour certifications, and has taught in over 30 accredited programs worldwide.

Since 2014, Lily founded Blooming Life Yoga Studio and School (now Blossom Yoga and Pilates) and Nourished Heart Training and Travel. She authored The Art of Living Yoga 4-Book Collection - the first complete curriculum foundation for certified teacher training that meets both Yoga Alliance and university academic standards. To date, these four books encompass Lily’s life’s work.

As a global retreat leader since 2015, Lily has guided cultural and spiritual journeys to India, Peru, Costa Rica, and Spain as peace efforts helping people see themselves in others. Her international teaching experience spans multiple continents, contributing to the expansion of authentic practice worldwide.

As a visual artist, Lily uses painting to translate and solidify her understanding of the nuances within Yoga's philosophical teachings. She has painted abstract, symbolic works on live stages with Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre, and her artwork has been featured in various exhibitions. Each piece serves as a visual meditation, bridging the seen and unseen dimensions of life.

In a world where self-promoted gurus often take credit for ancient practices, Lily's work stands as authentic education honoring tradition's true essence; power lies within the individual. Her books serve as bridges of peace, recognizing how spiritual paths across all nations share common foundations. Through this lens, she guides us to dissolve outdated belief systems and claim lives grounded in personal authenticity. Humbly committed to making these teachings accessible in everyday life, Lily remains immersed in her own learning and refinements. Lily volunteers at the Humane Society and shares her home with rescued animals. She is not found on any social medias, and is currently focusing all of her teaching at Butler University.
